We hereby certify that the Steinway & Sons, Model A, Serial Number 102,703 built around 1903 was rebuilt by European Craftsmen utilizing highest quality parts sourced in Germany and Austria and warrant the instrument with the same Five-Year Warranty as a new Steinway & Sons model.
The following procedures have been completed during the restoration process:
The hammers have been replaced with L. Renner GmbH Hammers. (See https://www.louis-renner.de) Renner Hammers
are considered among the best hammers for pianos that are used by Steinway & Sons current production of new Steinway instruments.
The Hammer Shanks have been completely replaced with Hammer Shanks provided by L. Renner GmbH. The dampers
have been completely restored with Grade A damper felt wool and the Damper Heads have been refinished. We rely for
felt products on the one the finest felt manufacturers in Europe, the Filzfabrik Wurzen, in Saxony, for felt products.

New key bushings and whippens (L. Renner Gmbh, Filzfabrik Wurzen GmbH.)
The keys have been cleaned and new German made key tops have been applied as currently also used by the Steinway & Sons Factory.`
The Bridges have been cleaned and recapped.
The Pin Block has been replaced with a brand new pin block sourced from Canadian hardwood from Bolduc Piano Parts
in Montreal, Canada, the accredited supplier for Steinway & Sons.
New high grade tuning pins.
The iron cast harp has been completely stripped and repainted in Steinway Gold.
The Piano has been refinished with Polyester supplied by BASF Germany and a minimum application of 3 mm is certified
up to 5 mm.
